Island Facts: Boracay

The Philippines is known for its spectacular islands and stunning stretch of beaches. Among these renowned destinations is the Boracay Island.

The 7-km long Boracay Island has long been in the limelight hailed one of the world’s best islands. Located in the Visayan Region, in the outskirts of Aklan province where stunning white-sand beaches are found, this award-winning island has secured its spot in the world of travel and has been recognized as one of the most-visited beaches in the Philippines by both international and local travelers. Reaching this world-renowned destination is as easy as air and sea or land travel. Fly from Manila to the new Caticlan Airport. From the airport, a quick 5-minute water taxi ride takes you to the island. One can also fly from Cebu where daily flights are also available.
