  • Tiananmen Square - one of the popular landmarks in Beijing, China where one can find the Great Hall of the People, Monument to the People's Heroes, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and Tiananmen Tower
  • Forbidden City - also known as the Palace Museum, the Forbidden City is the imperial palace to 24 Chinese during the Qing and Ming dynasties
  • Juyongguan Great Wall - a former fortress linked to the Great Wall of China where many battles took place. Apart from its historical significance, the Juyongguan Great Wall is an attraction to behold where it is surrounded by lush greeneries, colorful flowers and huge mountains.
  • Jade Museum - houses the largest collection of jade sculptures.
  • Beijing Olympic sites - The National Stadium hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics. specifically the football, track and field competitions, opening and closing ceremonies. Its architectural design resembles a bird's nest and has become a unique attraction in Beijing. The 2008 Olympic swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water-polo competitions took place at The National Aquatics Center or popularly called the Water Cube. The center appears as a huge blue box with steel-frames structured like bubbles.
  • Summer Palace - the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China
  • Wangfujing Street - 700-year-old commercial street that houses a wide variety of shops and boutiques selling both world-famous brands and traditional commodities
  • Silk Mall - home of China's silk products where tailors are willing to make customized suits or dresses
  • Pearl store - unlike what the name suggests, this market has a lot more to offer: from general merchandise to food to pearl

Local Eats

  • Peking Duck - China's most famous gourmet where the duck is air-dried and roasted in a closed or open oven until golden brown. Sliced roasted Peking duck is best enjoyed with pancakes, leeks, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce.
  • Xian Bing - A famous street food where minced pork is mixed with few chopped vegetables and wrapped in dough.
  • Shaqima - Deep fried dough strips bathed in syrup and sliced into small pieces.

Day 01: Manila/ Beijing (L)

Arrive at Beijing Capital Airport. Meet and greet then have a welcome lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. Proceed to compulsory tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, later have a sip of tea at Tea House. Check-in at hotel for overnight in Beijing.

Day 02: Beijing (B, L)

After hotel breakfast, compulsory tour to Juyongguan Great Wall, en route jade museum, lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, back to the city for outside picture taking of 2008 Beijing Olympic sites: Birds' Nest and Water Cube, and visit a Chinese herbal medicine research facility. Transfer back to hotel for overnight in Beijing.

DAY 03: Beijing (B)

Free time for leisure

Day 04: Beijing (B)

After hotel breakfast, free time until transfer to airport for return flight.
