Continue your tour in Hanoi and see the Hoan Kiem Lake and cruise the Ha Long Bay on the way to the Thien Cung Cave, where incredible stalactite and stalagmites formations can be seen.

  • Temple of Literature - constructed in 1070 and reconstructed from 1225-1400, ths temple is host of Vietnam's first national unversity - the Imperial Academy. The sprawling 54000 square meter complex includes lakes, parks, and courtyards all surrounded by a brick wall.
  • Hoan Kiem Lake - A central attraction of Hanoi situated within the Ngoc Son Temple. The Lake of the Restored Sword was named after the legend of an emperor similar to that of King Arthur.
  • Thien Cung Cave - located on Dau Go Island, one of Halong Bay's most beautiful caves featuring stalactite and stalagmite formations.
  • Ho Chi Minh Complex - built in Ngoc Ha village, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi city. This complex is made up of several buildings and monuments: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ba Dinh square, Presidential Palace, Uncle Ho’s House on stilt, One pillar pagoda and Ho Chi Minh Museum.
  • Halong Bay - Located northeast of Vietnam, the bay is comprised of a dense cluster of some 1,600 limestone monolithic islands, some of them having explorable caves, that also have lakes in them.

Local Eats

  • Som Tam - originally from northern Thailand, this dish is also known as spicy papaya salad. The salad is made of crabs, prawns shredded papaya added with chili peppers.

Day 01

Arrive in Hanoi, meet then transfer to hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be free. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: (B, L, D)

Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi at 7.45–8.00 (approx 3.5 hours drive). Your heavenly journey across Halong Bay starts around noon on Tuan Chau Island at the doorstep of Vietnam's most fascinating wonder. As the vessel sets sails, you will be greeted by the cruise manager. Discover some of the treasures spread across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon, picturesque floating villages, fantastic rock formations rising up out of the emerald water, attend our chef's cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking. Overnight onboard.

Day 03: (B, L)

Start the day enjoying some delights with a colorful buffet breakfast. Continue exploring Halong Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting Surprise Cave – the most beautiful in Halong Bay. Your cruise will come to an end between 10.30am and 11.00am then back to Hanoi at 4.30. Overnight in a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 04: (B)

After breakfast for your last day of the trip, enjoy some free time before you have to check out at 12 noon, as is the hotel standard check-out time. Once that’s done, transfer back to the airport for your departure flight.
