  • Presidential Building - built during the Japanese period and served as the governor's mansion. After its was heavily damaged, the building was reconstructed and is now the presidential mansion.
  • Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall - a monument and attraction set in central Taipei city built in honor of Chiang Kai-Shek, the former President of the Republic of China.
  • National Revolutionary Martyr’s Shrine - this structure, set amid the beautiful vast garden, was built in honor of more than 300,000 brave men who died during the Sino-Japanese war and the Chinese Civil war.
  • National Palace Museum - home to the largest collection of Chinese antique artifacts and artworks since about 5,000 years ago.
  • Handicraft Center - a non-profit social organization that promotes Taiwan's handicraft industry.

Local Eats

  • Gua bao -steamed buns filled with chopped braised pork belly, mixed with Chinese cabbage and finely crushed peanuts
  • Ba wan - a dumpling stuffed with vegetables and pork, bathed in gravy sauce.
  • Three-cup chicken - chicken mixed with rice wine, oil, soy sauce and added with garlic, basil and chilies.
  • Ban Tiao - glutinous rice made into flat thick noodles, best enjoyed when stir-fried with pork.
  • Pineapple cake - little pies with bits of pineapple candies.

Day 01

Land at the Taipei airport where you’ll meet up with your transportation who will drive you over to the hotel for your 2 pm check-in. From there, enjoy your time at the hotel and relax.

Day 02

Enjoy a delicious morning meal at the hotel then proceed to the Half-day City Tour which starts with passing by the Presidential Building, the structure that houses the office of the President of the Republic of China. Move over to the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, a landmark dedicated to the late Chiang Kai-Shek, former President of the Republic of China. Afterward, travel to the Martyr Shrine which was built for the fallen soldiers of the Chinese Civil War. Moving on, visit a Traditional Taiwanese Temple and observe the distinct features of the structure. The National Palace Museum comes next, full of amazing artifacts from the past. Lastly, visit the Handicraft Center where you observe the research and creation of local items and crafts. Once the tour is over, head back to the hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 03

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to explore the area at your leisure for your free time. Return to the hotel once again to enjoy some sleep before the final day of the tour.

Day 04

Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy some last-minute free time to explore Taipei a bit more. By around 12 noon, return for the standard check-out time and then ride to the airport for your departure flight.
