  • Forbidden City - also known as the Palace Museum, the Forbidden City is the imperial palace to 24 Chinese during the Qing and Ming dynasties
  • Juyongguan Great Wall - a former fortress linked to the Great Wall of China where many battles took place. Apart from its historical significance, the Juyongguan Great Wall is an attraction to behold where it is surrounded by lush greeneries, colorful flowers and huge mountains.
  • Jade Museum - houses the largest collection of jade sculptures.
  • Beijing Olympic sites - The National Stadium hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics. specifically the football, track and field competitions, opening and closing ceremonies. Its architectural design resembles a bird's nest and has become a unique attraction in Beijing. The 2008 Olympic swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water-polo competitions took place at The National Aquatics Center or popularly called the Water Cube. The center appears as a huge blue box with steel-frames structured like bubbles.

  • Yu Garden - China's famous ancient garden thats exemplifies Qing architectural designs where tourists can enjoy a cultural heritage tour. Streets nearby are lined with various shops that sell local goods and souvenirs.
  • People's Sqaure - this former race track is now transformed into a lovely park that hosts several shopping establishment, famous buildings such as Municipal Government Mansion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theater and Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and A beautiful musical fountain is located at the central plaza.
  • Xin Tian Di Entertainment Complex - radiates the perfect blend of historical and contemporary establishments. Buildings depict Shikumen design while its interiors are of modern international concepts. Several shops, cafes, upscale boutiques and restaurants dot the popular entertainment complex.
  • The Bund - clusters of commercial houses, grand establishments and buildings that depict rich European architecture are seen along the Bund, which is situated on the east bank of the Huangpu River.

  • Peking Duck - China's most famous gourmet where the duck is air-dried and roasted in the oven until it is golden brown. Thin slices of roasted Peking duck are best enjoyed with pancakes, leeks, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce.
  • Shaqima - Deep fried dough strips bathed in syrup and sliced into small pieces.
  • Xian Bing - A famous street food where minced pork is mixed with few chopped vegetables and wrapped in dough.


  • Shanghai-style Niangao - or also known as chao nian gao where sticky rice cake is rolled into a rod, sliced and stir-fried with leeks, pork.
  • Shanghai smoked fish - Fried Shanghai liangcai (cold fish) with sweet and savory brown sauce and roasted sesame seed
  • Ci fan - Glutinous rice balls stuffed with egg, ham, sugar, few vegetables, pork floss and Chinese dough.
  • Chinese-style fried chicken - Chicken fillet strips fried together with chopped dried chilies, garlic and ginger.
  • Pai gu nian gao - Also called pork chop with rice cakes. Deep-fried pork with sticky rice cake is bathed in gravy.

Arrive at Pudong International Airport, meet by guide welcome dinner at local Chinese restaurant, check-in at hotel rest of the day free for own leisure.

Day 02 Shanghai (B, L, D)

Day 03 Shanghai – Beijing (B, D)

After hotel breakfast, hotel check-out, free time till transfer to train station bound for Beijing via China’s High-Speed Railway (Jinghu High-Speed Railway) inclusive of the 2nd class ticket which is considered as the worlds fastest scheduled train in the world cutting the average travel time by more than half. Arrive Beijing; if early begin the tour at Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, tea house, dinner en route, and check-in at the hotel if arriving late, the tour will be transferred to 4th day or 5th day whichever is applicable

Day 04 Beijing (B, L, D)

After hotel breakfast, compulsory tour to Juyongguan Great Wall, Jade Museum, outside picture taking of Birds Nest and Water Cube, Panda Zoo, shopping at Wangfujing Street, lunch at the local Chinese restaurant, dinner at Quanjude Peking Duck restaurant. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 05 Beijing (B)

After hotel breakfast, check-out, free till transfer to airport for return flight.
