The journey starts after you’ve kicked off from San Francisco and then into the open ocean for the next couple of days, enjoying what the cruise ship has to offer. Arrive at Ketchikan, also known as Alaska’s “First City” because it was a major destination for miners to travel to during the gold panning days. From there, move over to Haines to find the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve, where as many as 4,000 bald eagles gather.

Travel over to Juneau next, the biggest town in Alaska and also once the hotspot for the biggest gold deposits back in the day. Your last destination within Alaska is the Tracy Arm Fjord, a place where nature roams free and beautiful ice chunks float along the water.
