  • Chocolate Hills- The most well-known of Bohol’s tourist attractions. Multiple mounds of hill-like forms that turn chocolate brown in the dry seasons.
  • Tarsier Sanctuary- A protected area that houses the sensitive little tarsiers Bohol is famous for.
  • Bamboo Hanging Bridge- Crossing the Sipatan River on this wooden bridge may take a bit of courage to get across and back.
  • Man-made Forest- A lush roadside forest that was slowly planted from years ago by the resident boy scouts.
  • Baclayon Church and museum- A national cultural treasure, this restored shrine of Christianity is a place filled with deep history
  • Blood Compact Shrine- Also known as the Sandugo Shrine, this statue displays a ritual of the past where two parties would sprinkle and drink one another’s blood in a drink

  • Peanut kisses- an original peanut-based brittle snack in Bohol, said to have been modeled after the Chocolate Hills.
  • Calamay- A super sticky and sweet concoction that is encased in a hard, coconut shell.
  • Broas (Lady Fingers)- Deliciously soft and long cookies that often just dissolve in the mouth and make for a light afternoon snack.
