An exploration of Bicol begins with a glimpse of the famed Mayon Volcano and see up-close the remains of the Cagsawa town at the Cagsawa Ruins Park. Then take a quick visit to the Albay Cathedral before grabbing some souvenirs within the area. Be amazed by the intricate architecture and design of the Daraga Church or famously called Our Lady of the Gate Church. Take a trip to the Pilinut factory and go on a souvenir shopping before leaving Bicol.   • Daraga Chruch - one of the country's historical churches that depicts rich architectural design. It is also known as Our Lady of the Gate Church.
  • Cagsawa Ruins - remnants of an 18th century Franciscan Church that was built in 1724 and destroyed by the Mayon Volcano eruption in 1814. Today, it stands as one of the most remarkable landmarks of the Bicol region offering a spectacular panoramic view of the Mayon Volcano.
  • Headless Monument - a monument dedicated to the unsung heroes who died fighting against the Japanese forces during their occupation.
  • Bicol Heroes Trylon - a 16-meter high pylon erected in 1945 marks the site where the Puente de San Rafael took place between hundreds of Bicolanos against the American forces.
  • Liberty Bell - A popular monument constructed in constructed in 1945 that symbolizes the people's liberation from the Japanese.
  • Legazpi Boardwalk & Embarcadero - a wharf developed into a recreational complex that offers various dining and shopping options.
  • Lignon Hill - one of the best locations that offers a full-panoramic view of the Mayon Volcano. This 143-metre high hill is located 11 kilometers from the volcano’s southeast summit. Aside from its spectacular view, visitors may also enjoy fun and thrilling activities.
  • Penafrancia Basilica - The Peñarancia Basilica Minore, located on the outskirts of Naga City, is one of the must-visit places in the Bicol region. This citadel of faith is home to the miraculous Our Lady of Peñafrancia (the patroness of Bicol) and is constantly filled with devotees and pilgrims all year round.

Local Eats

  • Pinangat - also known as Laing-- a native dish made from ground meat or seafood wrapped in whole gabi leaves (taro) cooked in gata (coconut milk) and seasoned with chili.
  • Kinunot - a dish made from stingray shredded meat, coconut milk and malunggay leaves, garlic, salt, chili and pepper. Maza pan de pili - a favorite pasalubong treat from Bicol. It is a sweet delicacy made with finely chopped pili nuts mixed with fresh milk and sugar.

Day 1

Upon arriving at the Legaspi Airport, a hotel representative will pick you up and transfer you to hotel for check in. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 2

After breakfast, proceed to a half-day city tour starting in CAGSAWA RUIN, a historical landmark which was the only one left standing after a devastating eruption of Mt. Mayon in 1814. The Nuestra Señora de la Porteria Parish Church or known as the DARAGA CHURCH is your next stop. It is nestled majestically on top of a hill above a bustling town. The LIGNON HILL is a prominent hill in Legaspi, Albay. Then go on a rolling tour along HEADLESS MONUMENT, BICOL HEROES TRYLON, ALBAY CAPITOL AND LEGASPI CITY HALL, PENARANDA PARK AND LIBERTY BELL, KAMPO NG BAYAN HERITAGE PARK, LEGASPI BOARDWALK AND EMBARCADERO. Finally, buy something for yourself and your friends at a SOUVENIR SHOP.

Day 3

Have an early breakfast so you can seize your time before checking out from the hotel. You will be transferred to Legaspi Airport for departure to Manila.
