Adventures begin across Utah taking you to popular landmarks in Salt Lake City such as the Temple Square, Eagle Gate Monument, Utah State Capitol Building, and the symbol of the American frontier, the Independence Rock.Travel to Wyoming and see the amazing sculptured sights of the Crazy Horse Memorial and the world-renowned carved heads of four of the greatest US leaders of Mount Rushmore. Explore the home of the largest collection of privately-owned black bear in the world, the Bear World, and see the impressive rock formations at the Devil’s Tower. The tour’s highlight is a trip to some of America’s most breathtaking national parks - the Yellowstone National Park, where the stunning formations of Old Faithful Geyser, Mammoth Hot Spring, Mud Volcano, Fountain Paint Pot, Yellowstone Canyon Falls, and Yellowstone Lake are all yours to seek and explore. Alongside this, the Grand Teton National Park lets you take a gander at some eye-opening wonders, like the Lake Jenny, and visit the town of Jackson. Idaho’s Shoshone Falls, or Niagara of the West, is a wonderful welcome en route to Snake River Canyon. The tour’s optional activity lets you discover Nevada’s vibrant ‘little biggest city’, Reno. Travel back in time as you stop in Virginia City, a mining town where the said industry during its boom in 19th century was worth millions. Finally, capping off the tour is a trip to the fascinating Lake Tahoe where an optional boat ride will leave you mesmerized by surrounding scenic sierras of Northern California
Overview
Your trip begins once you've chosen one of the two transport options that will lead you to Sacramento or Salt Lake City. Start off the next day in Utah's State Capitol, visit Temple Square, The Eagle Gate Monument and the local Capitol building. Once that's through, you'll be visiting more destinations like the Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, and a few bear-related attractions. Continue on in Yellowstone Park, a natural sanctuary with things to see like the Old Faithful geyser, Mammoth Hot Spring and the Mud Volcano. You soon be moving on to Idaho Falls, Shoshone Falls (the Niagara of the West), Snake River Canyon, before getting to Reno - "The biggest little city in the world". Finish up with visits to the mining town of Virginia and boat rides on Lake Tahoe before returning to the Bay Area once the day ends.

Itinerary:

Day 1: City of Departure > Utah

Option 1: Take the tour bus departing from San Francisco heading toward Sacramento. Lodging in Wendover. Option 2: Fly to Salt Lake City; take the free hotel courtesy shuttle to the hotel. (Airfare not included.) Meet the tour guide in the lobby of the hotel at 9:00 AM the next day.

Day 2: Utah > 110 miles > Great Salt Lake > 20 miles > Salt Lake City > 415 miles > Wyoming

In the morning, we will visit the Great Salt Lake, the LDS Temple Square, the Eagle Gate Monument, and the Utah State Capitol Building. in the afternoon, we will see Independence Rock, the symbol of the American frontier in 1800's. Lodging in Wyoming.

Day 3: Casper > 217 miles > Crazy Horse > 20 miles > Mount Rushmore > 118 miles > Devils Tower > 164 miles > Sheridan

Our first stop is the Crazy Horse Memorial Park. This huge stone monument, dedicated to one of the most famous Native American warriors, has been under construction since 1948. Next up, is the iconic Mount Rushmore. Witness the 60-foot heads of four of the greatest US presidents. Then we arrive at the magnificent Devil's Tower, which has been called the "Bear Lodge" by Native Americans. Lodging in Wyoming.

Day 4: Sheridan > 418 miles > Yellowstone National Park

We head for Yellowstone, the first national park in the history of USA in the morning and arrive there at noon time. We will spend 7 hours in the park to visit some of the most breathtaking attractions in the world. 30 minutes at Mammoth Hot Springs Area: Pallet Springs and Liberty Cap; 1 hour at Canyon Area: Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Upper Falls and Lower Falls; 1 hour at Norris Geyser Basin Area: Emerald Pool, Steamboat Geyser, Porcelain Terrace; 30 minutes at Upper Geyser Basin Area: Silex Pool, Fountain Paint Pot, Clepsydra Geyser, etc.; 40 minutes at Midway Geyser Area: Grand Prismatic Spring, Excelsior Geyser, Turquoise Pool, etc.. Lodging in Montana.

Day 5: Yellowstone National Park > 77 miles > Grand Teton National Park > 165 miles > Pocatello

We will explore more of Yellowstone National Park in the morning 50 minutes at the famous Old Faithful Geyser, 50 Minutes at the West Thumb Geyser Basin Area by Yellowstone Lake side: Beautiful Yellowstone Lake. Abyss Pool, Black Pool, Fishing Cone, etc. Taking the route alongside Snake River to reach Grand Teton National Park, we are going to make several stops in the park and depending on the weather conditions, you can choose to take a boat trip on Jenny Lake (optional fee). we will also visit the unique arch gates made by elk antlers in the famous cowboy town of Jackson. Finally, we arrive at the Yellowstone Bear World, a privately-owned wildlife park. Lodging in Idaho.

Day 6: Idaho > 112 miles > Little Niagara Falls > 6 miles > Snake River Canyon > 454 miles > Reno

First stop of the day is Shoshone Falls, also known as the Niagara of the West. then heading further into Snake River Canyon. In the evening, we'll arrive in Reno, and spend what's sure to be a colorful night in the place known as the “biggest little city in the world”. Entertainment shows are an optional activity.

Day 7: Reno > 70 miles > Lake Tahoe > 204 miles > Bay Area

Visit the historical and iconic mining town of Virginia City (optional fee), which also the place where Mark Twain began his reporting career. During its boom time in the late 19th century, it had over 15,000 residents, and the mining industry was worth millions of dollars - equaling billions today. We then head to Lake Tahoe where you can take a boat ride on this "jewel of the Sierras" in Northern California (optional fee). We'll return back to the Bay Area in the evening. (If you are flying out from SFO, please book a flight that departs after 10:30 PM).
